How MySpaceWatcher Works

Unlike many other tracking systems available for MySpace.com®, MySpaceWatcher.com utilizes many resources that many tracking systems have simply overlooked.

While providing the ability to see who's viewing your profile is standard across many different tracking systems, the MySpaceWatcher.com system expands on this concept to bring its members the most accurate tracking possible.

Data Collection

The MySpaceWatcher.com system uses tracking cookies to store non-personally identifiable information for the use of tracking. This allows our system to see who is viewing who, when they are viewing, and who else they have viewed, even if they haven't signed up for our system.

Still, only users that signup for the MySpaceWatcher.com system will be viewable to other members of MySpaceWatcher.com.

Reports & Statistics

Most people are curious to see who is viewing their profile, and while we cater to that crowd, we have expanded our system to house statistical information pertaining to an individuals profile views.

For instance, if you have a MySpace.com® profile and you login, you will see your profile views on your main control page. For this example, we'll say you have 1,255 profile views. Now, if a user comes to your profile, this will increase your profile views to 1,256. However, if that same user views your profile 5 more times, it will still show your profile views as 1,256. It does not matter if the user views your profile 500 more times over the course of a year, the profile views will never increase.

For this very reason, we have created our Statistical reporting section which provides you with a break down of profile views for today, yesterday, this week, last week, this month, last month, and this year.


Taking it a step further, we have incorporated several graphs that will assist you in seeing different reports based on your profile views for the last 30 days, or even a breakdown of how many profile views you have received per month for the last 12 months.

While we feel that our tracking system is by far the best on the market, we will continue to listen to our community and implement new features on a regular basis.
